A. CITIZEN VOL.01: Jordan on Finding the Funny in Everyday Life

Welcome to A. CITIZEN—a spotlight on the voices shaping the creative landscape. We sit down with artists, designers, and creators to discuss the essence of individuality and the inspirations that fuel their work. It’s an open-ended look at design, life, and the intentional choices that define a creative path.

In A. Society’s world, individuality is never an afterthought—it’s designed in, down to the smallest details. For this feature, we spoke with Jordan, a comedian whose perspective is grounded in observation, honesty, and the quiet confidence of moving at your own pace. From a simple engraving that says it all, to a creative process built on paying attention, Jordan’s answers are a reminder that personal style (and personal expression) doesn’t need to shout to be distinct.

Complete the sentence: “I am A. ____.”
I am Jordan, I am a Comedian

Tell us about the engraving on your frames — what does it mean to you?
The engraving is "Haha!", for me it's just a way to remind myself not to take life too seriously, and just have a laugh.

On Jordan: AMOS Wide in crystal with light blue lenses.

How do you express your individuality through the details — whether it's in your work or what you wear?
I try not to follow trends too closely and rather just do the stuff that I like to do.
To me, individuality means being able to do what you do. So, I just live everyday at my own pace, doing stuff that I want to do and what I think needs to get done.

What drives your creative process?
I get my inspiration just from daily life - from observing people, places. If I see something that I think is interesting, I just write it down.
