Your eyeglasses prescription will typically include the following values. If any of this information isn't
included in your prescription, you can leave the field blank.
SPH (Sphere)
SPH is the overall strength of your prescription. If you're nearsighted you will have a minus (-) before your
value, and if you're farsighted you will have a plus (+). We accept prescriptions up to -8.00.
CYL (Cylinder)
CYL is for people with astigmatism, which is when one part of the eye needs more correction than the rest.
This value is usually written with a minus (-) sign. If it is blank on your paper, select 0.00 or None. We
accept astigmatism up to -2.00.
AXIS
Axis is only needed if you have a CYL value for astigmatism. It is a number between 1 and 180 that sets the
exact direction of your astigmatism correction. If CYL is blank or 0.00, leave this blank.
PD (Pupillary Distance)
This is the distance (in millimeters) between the centers of your pupils. It ensures your lenses line up
directly with your eyes for clear, comfortable vision. If you have two numbers, select "Have two PDs".
